My Year 2022 Review
Date published:
In 2022, it has been very good with getting a job at Kainos and completing my first project while working with Azure daily. It was a good learning experience for my first project, and I felt some accomplishment after receiving good feedback from work.
Outside work, I occasionally try to blog during my free time to help others, which was one of my goals last year, and I aim to continue next year too.
Some of my highlights of this year:
-
Azure User Groups - attending several online Azure user groups.
-
Conferences - I attended several events like the Scottish Summit and South Coast Conferences. I met some of my incredible cloud community in person, and I plan to continue to do the same next year.
-
Microsoft Spotlight- I went to Microsoft Spotlight in manchester, and it was good to see the Microsoft Partners and more community folks.
-
Microsoft OpenHack Session - I took part in two Microsoft Openhack sessions, the DevOps and Serverless, and it was a good experience.
-
Certifications - I started studying for the Terraform Associate Certification; however, I still needed to complete it. However, I plan to finish it next year.
-
FestiveTechCalender2022- I finally contributed to this event, and it was a good learning experience. I have always wanted to contribute to it and other events.
After a long overdue holiday, I also visited Italy to see some friends in the summer.
Conclusion
This year has been a good start on my Azure Learning Journey, and I will continue to participate in more community events next year while trying to keep up with Azure.
Happy New Year, 2022
