Azure DevOps Engineer Expert AZ-400

As always, if you are interested in this exam and want to find out more, I recommend starting with the Microsoft Learn website.
What resources did I use?
I usually recommend that you use a variety of resources for any exam or qualification to prepare. Don’t be afraid to go deep into a topic you aren’t familiar. It helps me obtain a good understanding of the subject areas.
In terms of resources, I used the following:
-
CloudSkills.io - Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Certification AZ-400 Course: there is a fantastic Bootcamp from Mike Pfeiffer and the team at CloudSkills.io. This course goes in-depth with the skills and knowledge you will need to pass the AZ-400.
-
Microsoft Learn - AZ-400 Path: As always, Microsoft Learn is a great (and FREE) resource for getting up to speed on Microsoft Technologies. I recommend going through all the learning modules for the exam and following them all one by one in steps.
-
Azure DevOps Labs: Another great resource from Microsoft. The Azure DevOps Labs site allows you to get hands-on with your learning. I was able to get to grips with the concepts and technologies. There is a couple of labs with the DevOps Demo Generator. Check out the links. I highly recommend it.
How did I prepare?
I used Wislabs and Udemy for practice exam tests to help me become more familiar with the types of exam questions on the day.
I have been preparing for this exam for about seven months and eventually found the time to take it and lots of videos, reading, and labs. I would recommend taking your time to do time and do not rush it and if you need more time, postpone it until you feel like you are ready. This exam is very hard on the day with a board of skills that give you knowledge about DevOps.
If you are getting ready to sit for the AZ-400 or any other exam, I wish you good luck!
